Tacug's mission is to bring together the right people to help develop and improve how members support their customers through the continual evolution and enhancement of the Amazon Connect platform.

Founded in March 2024 by John Ing, who has been working with AWS and Amazon Connect since early 2018 and led the first UK Bank onto Amazon Connect in 2019 and has since been helping many other organisations adopt and migrate to Amazon Connect.

 Tacug's purpose is to provide our members with an independent place of best practice for all things Amazon Connect. Share insights, collaborate & solve operational challenges.


The Independent User Group for Amazon Connect Objectives

  • To enable members to collaborate and share best practice in a safe and controlled environment
  • To provide a mechanism to create 'Voice of the Customer’ feedback into AWS & Amazon Connect product teams.  
  • Support the continued development & improvement of the Amazon Connect platform, associated capabilities & features.
